Finding Style...... In a book!!!!

Must haves for every teen's closet (from Meg Cabot's How to be Popular, with our added touches):

  1. Dark denim stretch jeans (not too tight, but definitely not too loose).
  2. Simple yet versatile two-piece sweater sets in various flattering tones.
  3. Activewear (with hoodies)- no jogging pants, as drawstrings "draw" attention to your middle, yoga pants
  4. Jackets in corduroy and denim, nipped in at the waist.
  5. Skirts--knee length pencil (khaki and denim) and mini.
  6. Multiple tops including scoop neck and ruched tees, and blouses with just a hint of ruffle at the cuff of the neck.
  7. Round-toe shoes such as Mary Janes with cute heels, boots with flattering heel, slim yoga sneaker
  8. Close-fitting down-filled jacket for casual outings, dress coat
  9. Dresses for dances, any flattering tones.
Remember, dress to impress- and with a wardrobe like this, how could you not???

XOXO Aly
